As the founder of this company, I bring with me over two decades of experience in chemical-based industries, including more than 15 years of hands-on involvement in the screen-printing sector. My
journey began with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree from the University of Colombo and a Master of Science in Polymer Science and Technology (GPA 3.76) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. I am currently pursuing a PhD at Tottori University, Japan, focusing on Raman Spectroscopy—a cutting-edge analytical technique with wide applications. My research has explored block isocyanate crosslinkers in screen printing and the allelopathic effects of Parthenium on crops. I’ve worked across all areas of the screen- printing industry—from production floors to research and development labs.
As a compliance expert,I participated in the first three ZDHC seminars in Sri Lanka, hosted by Limited Brands, and have provided consultancy on chemical safety and sustainable printing techniques.
I am a Chartered Chemist (RSC UK) and a MRACI CChem (RACI Australia), dedicated to advancing the local industry through science-based innovation. As part of our CSR initiatives, I’ve conducted technical training programs for institutions such as the Vocational Training Authority (VTA) Sri Lanka, and helped donate lab equipment and microscopes to support practical science education across the country. I also authored a handbook on water-based printing in my native language to bridge the gap between advanced science and grassroots application.
